Report: 2 victims sliced by a knife during bar altercation | News
WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC)- Walterboro Public Safety officers arrested two men Saturday night after an altercation at a club resulted in three people being injured.
Kevin Lamar Davis, 32, has been charged with assault and battery third degree. Clifton Nelson, 25, has been charged with assault and battery second degree.
The incident began Saturday, September 8 around 11:45 p.m. at the Time Out sports bar on Robertson Blvd.
Officers say when Davis was confronted for trying to enter the club without paying, he assaulted one of the victims.
When officers arrived at the club, Nelson was spotted running from the scene. When Nelson was caught, officials say he threw a knife that was used during the attack under a car. The knife was recovered.
According to a report, one victim had a laceration to the neck, and another was cut on the left hand. EMS treated all three victims on the scene.
Both suspects were taken to Colleton County Jail.
