2 charged for armed robbery of pills from Walterboro pharmacy | News

WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC)- Walterboro Public Safety charged two men for an armed robbery of prescription pills at a Rite Aid early Sunday.
Authorities say 21-year-old Andersen Lewis Hobbs and 17-year-old Noah Michael Hobbs held employees at gunpoint at 72 Bells Highway around 12:30 a.m. and stole Oxycontin, Oxycodone, and Alprazolam.
According to the incident report, store employees were able to provide a description of the suspects' vehicle, and Jasper County Sheriff's Office deputies apprehended the suspects a short time later.
Both suspects were taken to the Colleton County Detention Center. They are charged with kidnapping, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
