Postal worker slaps person in Walterboro neighborhood, authorities say
Walterboro Police are investigating after a victim reported being slapped in the face by a postal worker.
According to the incident report provided by Walterboro Public Safety, the postal worker slapped the victim in the face after a verbal argument turned into a physical scuffle on Durham Street.
It's unclear why the victim and postal worker were arguing.
Officers did not provide a description of the mail carrier allegedly involved in the assault. This investigation is ongoing.
